Floor Lifts
A floor lift is a mobile lift that sits on the floor and is used by a caregiver to lift and transfer a patient from one location to another. It functions similar to a ceiling lift but relies on the caregiver’s physical strength to move it into place. Floor lifts can be particularly difficult to manoeuvre over carpet and rough surfaces and cannot pass through narrow doorways or position over objects that do not have sufficient clearance from the floor.
