Ceiling Track Components
Each ceiling lift system consists of various track components, depending on the options and configuration chosen. Some of those options are listed below:
Track
The Track is used in single track system applications or as the parallel support rails for a gantry (‘H’) system. Track is also provided in 90 and 45 degree curve shapes.
TrackPlus
TrackPlus is used as a traversing boom. Can also be used as the parallel support rails for a gantry (‘H’) system. Typically used for longer spans, 5 to 6 m between attachments.
SuperTrack
Super Track is a heavy duty low profile track used where longer unsupported spans are required. It is also used on smaller manual gantry systems where the beam length does not exceed 10’.
90 Degree Curve Track
Curved and straight tracks can be combined to accommodate a variety of shapes.
45 Degree Curve Track
The 45 Degree Curve can be used with other straight or curved tracks.
Ceiling Brackets (3″ & 6″)
The 3″ Ceiling Bracket is used to fasten the track to the building structure. Brackets are spaced for load distribution. They transfer forces to the building structure. The 6″ Connector Bracket is used in the same capacity, but connects or splices two pieces of track together.
Traversing XY Gantry Trolley Set (Gantry Wheels)
The Traversing XY Gantry Trolley Set is used to connect the traversing boom to the parallel support rails for a gantry (‘H’) system. Available in manual and power traversing models.
End-Stop & End-Stop Safety Pin
The End-Stop prevents the lift and/or the Traversing XY Gantry Trolley Set from rolling off the end of the track. The End-Stop is located at the end of each track, but can be adjusted and located anywhere along the track. The End-Stop Safety Pin acts as a redundant stop.
Charger End-Stop
The Charger End-Stop is essentially an End-Stop integrating a charger station to charge the batteries in the ceiling lift.
Multi-Port Turntable -16 port
The Multi-Port Turntable provides the end-user with ultimate flexibility in lift and transfer options on a monorail tracking system. The turntable provides 15 different ceiling track take-off points each at 22 degrees. The turntable is easily rotated with the use of a simple pull cord mechanism or powered option.
Quick-Fit Turntable 4 port
The Quick-Fit Turntable provides the end-user with 3 different ceiling track take-off points each at 90 degrees. The turntable is easily rotated with the use of a simple pull cord mechanism.
Trolley Assembly
The trolley assembly is a traversing wheel block located in the track. The portable lift is attached to the trolley with a carabineer on the end of the lift strap.
Transition Gate
The transition gate enables a transfer between a gantry and a monorail (single track). When the gantry beam is engaged to a monorail, the end stops on the track are automatically retracted and the lift can pass easily between the gantry and the monorail.
